Center for Health and Social Policy (CHASP) Student Welcome Lunch

Event Status
Scheduled

The Center for Health and Social Policy (CHASP) is the home of social policy at the LBJ School and a network of faculty, staff, students, and alumni who are passionate about reducing social and health disparities in the U.S. and abroad.

All LBJ students interested in social policy issues are invited to the annual CHASP Student Welcome Lunch to learn about the Center and the Social Policy Network (SPN) student and alumni group. You will also get to lunch with faculty and meet peers who share the same policy interests. Lunch provided with RSVP. (RSVP info will be sent via the LBJ student listserv and updated here.)

Social policy is inclusive of myriad interrelated issues: poverty, inequality, healthcare, public education, child welfare, criminal justice, food insecurity, family structure, mental health, family supports, reproductive health, early childhood, health finance, aging, juvenile justice, adolescent health, housing, and transportation.
